About me

I grew up in Lima, Peru and I was always interested in the arts since early age, visiting museums of all kinds and archaeological sites. I wanted to be an artist and a teacher so I got a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in Peru. After moving to the U.S.A. with my family in 1994, I pursue a career as a graphic designer while I raised my two boys I worked as a preschool teacher as well.

I went back to college to study Fine Arts earning a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Florida Atlantic University. There is a long advertising, media and editorial design chapter in my life. Lately, I attended workshops at the New York Academy of Art with Dan Thompson and Andrew Conklin to learn more about drawing and painting.  For me, creating is a way of life. I had the opportunity to paint Pet Portraits since 2018 producing over 10,000 paintings for customers all over the United States.
